— The method

Four acts.
One performance.

We work in chapters, not sprints. A typical engagement runs ten to twelve weeks, followed by stewardship that extends as long as the brand asks of us.

I

Weeks 1–2

Listen

Every engagement opens with silence and questions. We immerse ourselves in your category, your customers, and the rooms your brand will one day enter. Discovery sessions, stakeholder conversations, competitor archaeology, and quiet hours of looking — until the contour of the work emerges.

  • Discovery interviews
  • Category audit
  • Audience mapping
  • Strategic brief

II

Weeks 3–4

Define

We translate observation into intention. Positioning, narrative, brand voice, and the strategic spine that every later decision will hang from. Nothing visual yet — only the architecture of what the brand believes, and why.

  • Positioning territory
  • Narrative & manifesto
  • Voice & messaging
  • Naming, if needed

III

Weeks 5–10

Make

The work becomes visible. Identity, typography, color, art direction, packaging — drafted, refined, and refined again. We present a single direction at a time, and we defend it. Restraint is not a constraint; it is the work.

  • Visual identity
  • Typography system
  • Art direction
  • Touchpoint design

IV

Months 3+

Steward

A brand that ships is a brand that drifts. We remain involved — guidelines, rollouts, training, and quiet check-ins to ensure the work in the world matches the work that left the studio.

  • Brand guidelines
  • Production oversight
  • Team onboarding
  • Ongoing stewardship

— A note on partnership

"We are not a vendor. We are an extension of your founding team — for the months we work together, and the years that follow."
